1. If you have not already, sign up with Perplexity - https://www.perplexity.ai/onboarding/org/create

    1. Give your Perplexity account a name
    2. You do not need to invite anyone or add any seats

  2. Create an API group - https://www.perplexity.ai/account/api/group

    1. Fill out the address for your company

    2. Enter your credit card information (this is for the seats which you may have zero of … but Perplexity still wants your info)

  3. Add API billing info - https://www.perplexity.ai/account/api/billing (This is separate from the billing info for seats)

  4. Buy API credits - https://www.perplexity.ai/account/api/billing (For a trial $10 USD is likely plenty)

  5. Create an API key - https://www.perplexity.ai/account/api/keys

  6. Copy the key that you created - save this for configuring the Perplexity Provider in AI Portal.
